I saw this book at the library, and it looked interesting. Now I'm reading it, and it is interesting. So I've set Stone of Farewell on the back burner and am planning to finish this one first. I'll post a review when I finish it.

So what is it about?
It's an autobiography, but the author is highly synesthetic and has savant syndrome and Asperger's. (The cover says he's autistic, but based on the content of the book that's apparently something of an exaggeration. He never had any trouble learning to communicate with other people, for instance. Plus he actually says he was diagnosed with Asperger's, which is not the same thing as autism, although it's considered to be related.)
I'm post more of a review when I've gotten further through the book.
